Awrite this is confusing.. i got <strike>two</strike> three cool guys preparing the questions for two mega programming events and they're the judges for those two events! damn did you read that all too well?? This is sick man.. this is insane in a way that puts greed in my heart

Munir Usman is handling things in Procom's speed programming competition and Noman Shaukat and Sarfaraz Soomro are handling the same stuff at TechElite.. these days I'm trying my best to send as many gifts to all three as possible!

Ah well, its nothing like that.. i am such a good boy i even rejected 50:50 and 60:40 offers! (No! that's just a joke you bottle of coke). Well, this is tricky.. we had this programming competition held in our uni where the best of KIET were competing. I came at the top luckily having solved 3 out of 5 questions in that 90 minutes competition. But getting the first spot within KIET was no big deal to be honest. I think Procom and TechElite are gonna be real testers for sure.. where you have to control the amount of sweat you get... that basically means the amount of pressure you are able to handle silly!

Ah well.. peace

I've been writing a lot about things not techy enough to have that balance between what I do most of the time and what I want to do most of the time. I often find it challenging to pass my third-rate programming skills to this blog and come up with things the search engines love.

For instance, the posts which I made regarding my OBJ Loader and other similar posts, I am able to get a lot of hits on them. People search for these things and they come over and find something useful. I, on the other hand prefer writing my own stuff which has far less significance to anyone else (if at all).

I've been in the middle of some really useful drafts that are related to software development. I'm thinking of thinking about coming up with more of such tech-filled curry so that my friends (or anyone) coming in from Google or other search engines are able to find what they're looking for.

After all, it feels so much better to help somebody than to type all the non-sense you have to fill your blog up. Plus, I'm so kinda occupied in other things that I usually want to spend most of my time in useful things. I personally think that I read blogs of other people more for availing something valuable than their personal "rants". Anyways, that's just a way to feel better for everybody, it depends on personal taste of what makes them feel better.

Except for one thing: Youtube is not opening up and I am tired of watching all those previously downloaded videos. I'm not sure what's happening.

Other than that, I am having so much fun these days! We had an ammmazing story back in the old pavillion! Awrite, I'm into code words here so I better shut up

Its so much like as if the whole world is going through a while loop and I am an argument to some interesting function being called in that loop!

Internet TV is a cool thing. I am almost sure about the fact that one day, the TV sets at our homes will be useless as on demand iTV (yepp) will overtake the usual format for the current style the TV works. The computers will become much more convenient that housewives will begin to watch their favorite soaps on demand and that means no late chaye and dinner for ghar walas! Or daddy will be ready all the time to take the kids to the park as his favorite sports show can always be played back again later! If you're confused about what the heck I'm talking about, don't be, these ideas are based on something I am in touch with these days

Anyways, please please pray for my YouTube to be back soon!

Alright, we just had a lot of fun this evening with Zaheer (our really cool CEO), Joe and Chris (Zaheer's partners). We went to Bar-B-Q Tonite (again) and had great food!

In that time we talked about a lot of things about the company (Centric Source), about movies and about each other

Chris had so much fun with the guys, he is really interested in getting better all the time. He is workin hard to get things in a much better shape than they are at the moment. As you know, you always have something to improve upon.

Zaheer, Joe and Chris, thanks so much on behalf of my team! we had a great time with you guys!

Plus, I also won a discount coupon of Rs.1000 outside the BBQ Tonite from the United Mobile promotions people who were standing outside of the resturant. Now I can get the Nokia 6120 Classic for Rs.1000 less than the market price! wohoo!

The 4 Man Show on AAJ TV is one of the most fun filled shows I have ever come across! These guys are just too good. They come up with stuff of such quality that keeps our hopes alive of getting quality entertainment from the local channels. There are other programs too like Hum Sab Umeed Se Hain but the 4 Man Show beats all the others hands down! Nadia and Khalid Butt are just so awesome lol!

Here are a couple of videos I saw on youtube and I cannot stop laughing! You better see these two clips on youtube to be in full agreement with me. The video clips show Khalid Butt interviewing Ahmed Raza Kasuri, the government's lawyer who went out of his mind in "The Great Debate" at Geo TV and started swearing really badly! I was literally on my floor when I was watching that and I have watched that now for about a mentazillian times and I still enjoy it.

Here are the links:

I've started working at Right Solution as the Project Manager. I am quite happy to get this job. Getting into this company was not that easy. I had to go through not one, not two but four interviews to get to this place.

Interview 1: by Salman and Danny

Salman is the Project Manager here who was leaving this place at the end of December. I applied for the post of a PHP Developer and when the interview started, I was asked if I would like to work as a Project Manager. I was like wow, a nice opportunity! After all these years of coding, I always dreamed about having a job where I could tell and assist people what to do and how to do it rather than cracking up the (sometimes laborious) code myself. But I never expected this opportunity to come so early! Salman told me they looked at my CV and thought my RentACoder profile proved I can communicate very well with the management in the US (who are Goraaz) and I was happy to take that job. Danny, the Art Director asked me questions which were nice. The interview had 10% technical stuff as they would have known I was OK with that technical part. 90% was non-technical and was rather interesting. Anyways, they told me they're going to call me up and let me know whatever happens.

Interview 2: Zaheer Dodhia (CEO of Right Solutions)

I was called up by Salman and I was told to reach the office for another interview. This time I had to interact with Mr. Zaheer Dodhia (the CEO) and he was a young and humble person. He very much resembled Bill Gates but he had a Macbook on his table

He asked me some good questions, especially about dealing with people, dealing with stress and all that, and he mentioned what I was expected to do if I do get this job and blah blah.. and after that interview, I had to go through another interview, and that had to happen on the phone!

Interview 3: Jeanne (Coordinator at ******* ******)

The third interview I had to go through was on the phone. This time it was a lady named Jeanne who was the Coordinator at .. ahm.. I am asked not to talk about that. She was a nice lady and somehow she liked my accent she asked me the usual management related questions and I answered with whatever common sense and management experience I had. That interview began to give me confidence that I am going to get this job! But Alas! I had one more interview :S and they told me it was the toughest of all.

Interview 4: Jolene (Design Consultant at *********)

Jolene was the final bridge I had to cross to get into Right Solution. That (phone) interview didn't look like to me as the toughest of them all, but I must say, the way Jolene conducted that interview was really cool. She sounded liked a really smart lady and had all the right questions for me. I don't know why but I thought I became *slightly* unreal in that interview and started flying kites and started giving answers from the textbooks rather than my own understanding of things.

Hurra Time: Today

I got a call from Danny today and he told me I am in! WOWOW! Man i am just so happy that I got this job. The pay is awesomish and the opportunity and the people/clients are big. I am going to manage a team of about 10 designers plus I am going to keep things synchronized between the US office and this Pakistan office. The only different thing is, this is a night shift job. The timing is from 9 pm to 6 am Pakistan time. This is done to match up with a team of some cool people in the US office as its daytime over there.

The Right Solution holds an entire building of their own in DHA Commercial, and its a well-built setup with 100+ employees working in various shifts.

Lets hope I can have fun over there! and pray that I don't feel sleepy that much over there! cya!
